The project is located on reserved development land east of the Xili University Town Stadium in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, south of Xueyuan Avenue and west of Lishui Road. The total construction area is 180,900 square meters. The project mainly involves the construction of a single complex of buildings, including four laboratory buildings and a lower podium, with 17 floors above ground and 3 floors underground, reaching a height of 96.9 meters. The main construction content includes eight key laboratories (including the State Key Laboratory of Urban Water Resources and Water Environment, the State Key Laboratory of Robotics Technology and Systems, the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Welding and Joining, the State Key Laboratory of Tunable Laser Technology, the State Key Laboratory of Special Environment Composite Materials Technology, the Key Laboratory of Spatial Information Networks and Applications, the Key Laboratory of Cyberspace Security, and the Key Laboratory of Urban Engineering Safety), 142 secondary laboratories, a public service platform, administrative and living quarters, underground parking and equipment rooms, and elevated connecting corridors.
